On
island are two places, Veli Iz and Mali Iz. From ferry port "Brsanj",
by the road, you first come in Mali Iz, and after 10 min driving with car
you come in Veli Iz. In Veli Iz, except private accommodation, has hotel
with 120 rooms.
In center of Veli Iz are exist two food markets, souvenir shops, post office, and newspapers shops. In Veli Iz are situated a doctor and ambulance. Also there are few restaurants, bars and pizza restaurants. For people who likes recreation, in place is one Tennis playground, basketball and football playground. On the island there are biking and hiking trails. In Veli Iz are two public beach, one in front of hotel and one in opposite side, and on small island Rutnjak, 300 m away from port, is beach for naturist. But all island is a one great beach with many lagoons, so you can rent a bike and enjoy in discovering of island.
